Welcome to our Events page. There’s always something happening behind the scenes at RotR HQ, but not necessarily something you can get involved with, right now, as a rider.
So, where you can, please make a note of any upcoming dates and keep your eyes open on this page.

Our Next Event!
Our increasingly popular annual Winter Walk for Whizz Kidz is a 10k walk (definitely not a hike – there’s far too much coffee and cake involved!) from the Relais Cooden Beach Hotel to Galley Hill, Bexhill and back.
Full of riders (on legs this time!), friends, families, the general public and well behaved dogs! The hotel kindly supports us at the end of the walk with free hot drinks and cookies!
Walkers gather around the hotel or inside (you do need to pay for any drinks before the walk) at 10am for a 10.30am departure. Often the weather is very kind to us, despite the time of year, and it’s a terrific opportunity for everyone to meet old friends – and make new ones, too!
How does it work as a charity fundraiser? Well, we ask all walkers to pay £10 into a JustGiving page that we set up at the beginning of December. Simple! And it’s raised £15,500 for Whizz Kidz to date!
Past Events!
Our two annual events are very popular with riders from the UK and beyond!
The Hop Run takes place in early June from MotoGirl at Tonbridge and the Ride of the Ruperts in late September from Ducati Hailsham. Both dapper events are so much more than a ride, they’re actually a full day out for riders and pillions with the chance of winning some amazing prizes along the way.
After nine years they remain incredible value for money, intentionally, making the events open to all who ride. Combined, these two events raised over £16,000 in 2026 for Whizz Kidz.
